This species bred very well for me in 2002. I had 1 male, and 5 females, and the male certainly knew what he was doing! This is quite an unorthodox breeding ratio, but it didn't stop this colony. In about 6 months they spawned 13 times. Unfortunately I lost the male during the summer heat wave. I'm hoping that one of the froglets is male, but in the meantime I was lucky enough to be given a male by a fellow member of the British Dendrobatid Group. Let's hope this new male is made of the same kind of stuff as the last one!
