I am Mantella Studbook Coordinator for the European Studbook Foundation (ESF). The mission of the ESF is the “conservation of species in captivity”. I would like to invite other ‘kitchen conservationists’ to join our important mantella conservation mission. All that is needed is room in your kitchen (or bedroom!) for some frogs, dedication, and enthusiasm! Mantellas are truly beautiful creatures. I have been keeping and breeding them since 1998, and feel passionately about their conservation. I currently hold seven species and am breeding aurantiaca, laevigata, viridis and bernhardi. This site details the conservation mission, and invites other kitchen conservationists to join this important programme. See the Mantella Gallery link below for photos of these beautiful creatures and more information. Mantella Gallery This site is dedicated to my twin sister, who I love very much. |
